Our Meetings

When We Meet

We generally meet twice a month on Wednesday evenings during the classic three Academic terms. We decide the actual dates about a year in advance.

What do we discuss?

.....anything to do with dentistry. The agenda is decided about a term in advance by collective discussion and feedback from previous meetings. In that discussion and as part of the decision making we may decide to invite an outside speaker or one of the group elects to run and host the meeting themselves. This individual endeavour to organise a meeting is normally based on that colleagues desire to explore an unfamiliar or evolving area of dental practice or may be an opportunity to provide the group with the benefit of their expertise or experience in a certain field. It is an opportunity to practice presentation skills in a small group setting.

Some evenings are devoted to collective case presentations and discussions. ...and any meeting is an opportunity to get opinions and advice from colleagues about individual clinical cases or practice in general.

The meetings are recordable as verifiable CPD.
